Digital Knowledge Fellow

Chelsea K. Hampton is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of English, Linguistics, and Communication. Her current research projects focus on the history and development of medical monitoring technologies such as glucose monitoring. She is particularly interested in exploring questions of surveillance and privacy in connection to monitoring technologies.

For her Digital Knowledge Faculty Initiative project, Chelsea Hampton has chosen to focus on developing projects and assignments that connect her course content to the digital sphere. The assignments complement the theoretical material from communication courses by facilitating hands-on engagement with digital platforms.
